We are pleased to join This Must Be the Band, the nation's finest Talking Heads Tribute Band who recently sold out the Vic Theater for 2 shows at Otto's in DeKalb and at the Abbey Pub in Chicago on March 1 & 2 respectively.  These are the 2 latest shows added to the tour with Melvin Seals and Mark Karan. 

A tour is being planned for late February/early March with Ratdog guitarist Mark Karan and JGB's Melvin Seals.  This will be the first tour with Terrapin Flyer and Mark Karan and we are really excited to get these shows announced.  Just a heads up to be on the lookout for show announcements coming soon! 

We are pleased to announce that the Field Trip Festival performance will also include Grateful Dead keyboardist Tom Constanten.  So this will be the first time TC and Melvin Seals have performed together on stage and it will be with us!!  

Once again Terrapin Flyer will be headlining the Saturday evening of the Field Trip Festival, but this year it will be with Melvin Seals as a special guest.  Until Tuesday May 24 at noon Early Bird tickets can be purchased for only $35 which will include camping and music for 2 nights at www.fieldtripfestival.com/tickets .  After May 24th tickets will be available for $45 at the same link.  Day of the show tickets are $60 if they are available. 

Terrapin Flyer with Melvin Seals has been added to the Stable Studios Festival on 6/19 to close out the festival.  Other acts at this fest include 7 Walkers and Dumpstafunk and many more.   Also Terrapin Flyer with Tom Constanten has been added to headline the Whippersnap Festival in Earlville, IL on 7/16.  

Terrapin Flyer will be performing for the 40th Anniversary of the Hard Rock Cafe.  The venue will be featuring a band performing the songs from a band that was making waves in their founding year 1971.   For the May 27th event Terrapin Flyer will be playing the music of the 1971 Grateful Dead.
 

Terrapin Flyer will be performing with Grateful Dead keyboardist and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Tom Constanten as "TC and Friends" at the first Grateful Dead Night at the minor league baseball  team the Lansing Lugnuts.  As part of the evening the team's jerseys will feature and embroidered patch of the iconic "Steal Your Face" logo, Grateful Dead music will be performed between innings and there will be various trivia questions about the Grateful Dead over the stadium's intercom.  TC and Friends will perform on a stage on the field immediately following the game.  As a side note, the performance date of this show falls on the day of Grateful Dead and Tubes keyboardist and mutual friend Vince Welnick and the show will be performed with him in mind.  We miss you Vinnie!
 

On Friday June 3rd Terrapin Flyer with Tom Constanten will perform a free show in Clarkston MI at Mr. B's Roadhouse (www.mrbsclarkston.com) after the Phish concert at DTE Energy Theater (formerly known as Pine Knob) which is also in Clarkston. Mr B's Roadhouse is only a 5 minute drive from the Phish show, so if you are planning on going to see Phish here, please join us after the show.

 

Terrapin Flyer will once again perform several dates with Jerry Garcia Band's Hammond B3 master Melvin Seals. The tour will feature a new lineup of Terrapin Flyer featuring current JGB bassist Jimmy Tabeau and Phoenix guitarist from the band Xtra Ticket Dave Hebert.  Presale tickets for the show at Brixie's in Brookfield, IL on June 17th are available at The Barn Website. On June 18th Terrapin and Melvin will play before Galactic at Founder's Fest in Grand Rapids, MI.  On June 19th, they will play in Spencer Indiana at Stable Studios Fest along with Dumpstahfunk, 7 Walkers and many other great bands.
